Reserve the Building

Please follow these steps to reserve the Meetinghouse. All events including rentals and Meeting sponsored events and committee meetings are all on the same calendar. The priority is done as "first come first served" regardless of who is making the reservation.

  1. Review the Schedule of building use to make sure there will not be a conflict.
  2. If your request is not a Meeting-sponsored event, review the rental rules below.
  3. Use this on-line form to Request a reservation

Rental rules

The Meetinghouse is occasionally rented to outside groups by approval of the Meeting - this is not available to the general public. In particular, we do not rent for weddings or other social occasions.

The rental rate (when approved) for the whole building is $50 for the first two hours, plus $10 for each additional hour. Please include the setup and cleanup time needed. There is an additional fee of $30 if you either serve outside food or use the kitchen, regardless of the length of time. For example, a three hour event with food would be $50 + $10 + $30 = $90.

If you just want to use the downstairs area, there is no set rate, but you may make a donation.

If you cannot pay the fee and would like the Meeting to sponsor the event, and you are known to the Meeting, you should take your request to the appropriate committee for consideration.

To initiate a rental, fill out the request form (link above); then you will get an email to confirm, which will contain further instructions.
