Note about requests for money - May 2007
M&O drafted this general response to people who ask for direct financial support.
We offer a spiritual home for people, and spiritual support. We have a limited budget and volunteer staff, so we cannot handle direct requests for money or gifts. If you need assistance, St. Martin’s Hospitality Center on First street near Mountain (243-8031) is a good source of help, as is the Salvation Army (872-1171), Joy Junction (877-6967) and Barrett House (246-0944, women and children only).
